The development and deployment of the Company’s intellectual property are fully aligned with its operational needs. With a focus on the prudent and effective use of resources, the Company prioritizes the protection of essential intellectual property that is critical to its business.
As the Company continues to pursue earnings growth, it remains committed to protecting the core technologies developed through its dedicated R&D efforts while reinforcing its strong corporate image.

The Company has established a dedicated unit responsible for patent-related matters.
The Company has established patent incentive mechanisms to encourage employees to actively engage in the research and development of patented technologies.
Both patent application and maintenance procedures undergo professional review by responsible management teams, with an emphasis on quality over quantity.
The market deployment of each patent is determined based on the intrinsic merits of the underlying technology, with a focus on precision in strategic positioning. This approach not only safeguards the Company’s proprietary technologies but also helps prevent competitive encroachment and preempt rival patent filings.
Patent applications are developed through collaborative discussions among patent agents, inventors, and responsible Company personnel. A single invention may be strategically expanded through patent protection mechanisms into broader or multiple applications to increase the scope of protection and reduce the risk of competitors designing around the patents.
II. Trademark Management
Trademarks represent the Company’s corporate image, goodwill, and brand. For the trademarks primarily used by CHPT, applications have been filed in major countries and key markets around the world to establish an appropriate trademark portfolio.

Attendance at important Company meetings is restricted to designated personnel, and unrelated individuals are not permitted to participate.
